- Notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract under the guidance of FAR Part 12, to The Mt. Washington Conference Center, to provide conference center facilities, with meeting rooms, audio/visual support and free internet access, appropriate meals and appropriate overnight accommodations for up to 170 overnight guests and an additional 81 day participants. The Conference Center and accommodations are required for the FY07 CBM Off-Site Scientific Review. The Period of Performance is April 1, 2007 - April 5, 2007. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have three working (3) days from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after three working (3) days, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the address or facsimile number stated herein and to the attention of Mr. Travis Potts, Contractor, Contract Specialist. Responses to this notice must be received by close of business, February 08, 2007. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (703) 767-4246. If no responses are received, an award will be made to The Mt. Washington Conference Center.
