- The Library of Congress intends to purchase through sole source from Research Technology International, 4700 W. Chase Avenue, Lincolnwood, IL 60712, a Lipsner-Smith CF8200P Film Cleaning Machine which efficiently utilizes perchloroethylene as the cleaning solution. That will permit the library to clean archival cellulose nitrate based and other motion picture films as part of its film preservation program.
