- Description
- Provide a quote for 21 Johnson Controls Metasys MS-NCM4510-2 controllers. First shipment shall consist of 2 controllers to be delivered to address specified, to arrive not later than 15 calendar days after issue of order. Second shipment shall consist of 19 controllers, to be delivered to the same address, within 15 calendar days of notice to ship. GSA may cancel the second shipment at no additional cost to GSA. Provide replacement warranty for 1 year from date of delivery. GSA is exempt from state and local taxes. Include any shipping and handling charges in the price. Blank GSA Form 300 will be posted; this contains standard clauses and will be used for the purchase order. Award is anticipated for 2/19/2007. This acquisition is pursuant to simplified acquisition procedures. Award will be made on the basis of price, and adequacy of warranty. Provide price and a copy of warranty by email to mark.levi@gsa.gov or fax to 415-522-3311 attn: Mark Levi, not later than 12:00 Noon Pacific Standard Time February 16, 2007. Price may be recorded on the Standard Form 18 to be posted, or may be provided in letter format. Send any questions to Mark.Levi@gsa.gov. This is a brand name specification IAW FAR 11.105, because the controllers must be installed as part of an existing proprietary Johnson Controls Metasys building automation system, and replacing the system as a whole would be cost prohibitive. Under the nonmanufacturer rule (because the product is manufactured by a large business) this requirement is issued subject to unrestricted competition. Any responsible source may provide a quote.
