- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Association for Computing Machinery, Inc (ACM), New York, NY under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for rental of exhibit space for SC07 Supercomputing Conference, Reno, NV, 10 ? 16 November 2007. This conference is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Computer Society. A firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated. Total contract value is estimated at $36,000. This action will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NAICS 561920 with business size of $6.51M applies. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
