Description

This pre-solicitation notice, for a planned acquisition, is to provide Service & Maintenance to the Grease Eradication Systems at the USAF Academy, CO. The performance period is one year from approximately 1 June 2007 plus four one-year options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government through September 2012. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The requirement includes providing all management, labor, materials, transportation and other items and services necessary to maintain the grease eradication systems in five buildings located at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 561790, Duct Cleaning Services, and the business size standard is $6,500,000. This acquisition is set-aside 100 percent for small business. This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures to procure a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements Contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 March 2007 utilizing the FedBizOpps.gov single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities at www.fbo.gov and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. Funds are currently available for this acquisition.
