- Description
- Synopsis The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the removal of abandoned in place Lead Sheath Copper Cable from the Kirtland Air Force Base Infrastructure for the 377 MSG, Kirtland AFB, NM. The requirements for this project will be outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Contractors shall perform the services in accordance with current Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and DoD 4140.1-R regulations. Potential offerors should be OSHA/EPA certified to remove lead sheath copper cable and have a written safety plan for hazardous waste removal/disposal. The contract is to be a zero (0) dollar contract. No appropriated or nonappropriated funds will be used. The Government and contractor will exchange consideration only. The Government will receive removal and disposal of cable and the contractor will receive lead and copper from the cable. The period of performance will be one year in duration. The solicitation will be unrestricted full and open competition. The Solicitation/Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 15 Feb 2007. The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 562920 and the corresponding size standard is $13 million. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial format Request for Proposals, using Past/Present Performance/Price Tradeoff evaluation procedures. This solicitation will be issued on or about May 20, 2002. It will be available only via the Electronic Procurement System (www.fedbizopps.gov). No paper copies will be furnished
