- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with Harris RF Corporation, Rochester, NY, for the acquisition of replacement Secure HF-SSB/VHF-FM Tactical Radio System Manpack, P/N AN/PRC-150C (65 ea). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evi dence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
