Description

This is a Sources Sought synopsis for market research purposes. This is not a request for proposals. Information received will be used for Market Research Purposes Only. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking vendors who can provide clay lining material that meets the following requirements for a proposed project approximately 20 miles north of Sparks, Nevada: - The material shall be CL (or GC or SC) as determined by the Unified Soil Classification System - 25 percent or more by dry weight shall pass the No. 200 sieve - Liquid Limit (LL) shall be less than or equal to 50 - Plasticity Index (PI) shall be between 16 and 30 - The hydraulic conductivity (permeability) shall be less than or equal to .0000001cm/sec (at 95% Standard Proctor compaction) NAICS Code: 212325 The approximate quantity needed is 2100 cubic yards. Only affirmative responses need reply.
