Description

RIO DE FLAG FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT, CLAY AVENUE WASH DETENTION BASIN, COCONINO COUNTY, ARIZONA THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE ON OR ABOUT 15 MARCH 2007 IN LIEU OF 9 FEBRUARY 2007. This is an 8(a) competitive IFB which will be limited to the 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) Program located in Region 9. The Clay Avenue Wash Detention Basin consists of construction of approximately 4,200 ft. of two relatively small embankments with an ogee crest concrete spillway, access roads, access ramps, turnarounds, and reinforced concrete box conduit with inlet and outlet structures, retaining wall and sewer line, a circular reinforced concrete pipe with inlet and outlet struc tures, drainage culverts, chain link fencing, safety railing and incidentals. Earthwork consists of excavation in soil and rock, compacted fill and disposal of excess excavated materials at the borrow site location or to a mandatory disposal sites and fil ling of miscellaneous areas. Please note that there are special instructions pertaining to hand delivered bids. These special instructions can be viewed in Section 00100 of the advertised solicitation. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237990, Other He avy and Civil Engineering Construction, $31 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The estimated cost range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period for this project is 180 calendar days . This is an IFB Firm Fixed Price Sealed Bid Procurement. ALL BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROCUREMENT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED A T ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, EVALUATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The solicitation will be available on or about 15 MARCH 2007. All bids are due 17 APRIL 2007, 1:00 P.M., Pacific Time, at which time the bid opening will occur. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet only. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only. No additional media (Compact Disks, Floppy Disks, Faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
