- Mobile CO-OP Housing The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for the potential acquisition of the following products: 4 single family units 8 duplex units 10 4-person barracks units/with separate entrance for the sleeping and living quarters 1 shower/bathroom unit (see below 4th bullet) 1 Kitchen unit A total of 24 units that will house 60 personnel We are looking for the following specific for the units: Single family and duplex unit that will also provide a work area Duplex unit with separate entrances Certified to withstand at least Category 3 Hurricane winds Hygiene System (shower, sink, toilet) to be provided in each unit.  Also a separate men and women shower unit with bathroom facilities (half of the unit for men the other half for women), with the capability to provide hot water and showers for up to 60 people 24/7 Full Sewage capabilities both black/grey water storage and ability to connect to city sewage Kitchen unit and separate kitchens in each unit Semi - to permanent capabilities (the units can be deployed or set up as a stationary unit). Laundry facilities for each unit At least 480 square feet of living space for each unit when fully deployed. Self Deploying System (2 Man operation). The units can be towed by a standard SUV towing package and does not require a Commercial Driver's license. On Board Leveling System. State the total square footage if all units were setup in one area (like a trailer park). State how big the footprint of such an area would be, taking into consideration that the units will be set up in a way to minimize space but allow for easy access in the event the units have to be moved, repaired, changed, etc. Communications for Each Unit Data line connections Telephone line connections Cable TV connections Environmental Controls for Each Unit Heating and Cooling Units Interior divider walls HEPA Filtration with environmental control HVAC Airlock egress system Solar panel electrical system Insulated sidewalls and ceiling Water Purification Future Capabilities Quick links to other systems (does the capability exist and how easy would it be to link units Vendors that can meet the requirements are requested to submit descriptive literature/brochures and commercial price lists or federal contract price lists to the Contract Specialist, as indicated in this notice.
