- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Baxter Healthcare Corporation, 1 Baxter Parkway, Deerfield IL 60015, for CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) Supplies for the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and FAR 6.302, for Other Than Full & Open Competition. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Governments needs can best be satisfied by products available from one source for these supplies. NAICS code 339113 applies to this procurement. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 4:00 PM CT 2/20/2007. This notice is not a request for bids. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
