- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF INTENT TO LEASE SPACE USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION FORT LAUDERDALE, FL The United States Government intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease that is expiring in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Government will consider relocation if economic and other factors determine an alternative space to be advantageous to the Government. Consideration factors include all tenant improvement costs, moving costs, telecommunications relocation costs, and agency special requirements. The Government requires a total of 11,087 usable square feet of hangar and related space. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The lease term will be for five (5) years firm. Occupancy is desired no later than October 1, 2007. Firms who are interested in commenting regarding the Government?s intent to award his project under Other Than Full and Open Competition or in obtaining additional information regarding the above procurement should provide their written comments to Andrea Cooney, Realty Specialist, at andrea.cooney@gsa.gov or to her attention at GSA, Property Acquisition and Realty Services Division (4PEY), Atrium West Building, 7771 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Suite 119, Sunrise, Florida 33351.
