Description

The Regional Contracting Office, Alaska, Fort Richardson, Alaska intends to issue a sole source award to the Wheel Systems International, Inc., for truck rubber insertion extraction press or runflat press, 220 Volt//50-60 Hz/3 Phase, Electric 120 Vol t 1000 lbs, Side Jib Crane, Lifting Tire Hook, Extraction Strap at Fort Richardson and Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The Government intends to acquire these commercial items using FAR Part 12 and intends to place the purchase order pursuant to FAR Part 13.106 -1(b),which allows for the acquisition of items determined to be reasonably available from only one source. Qualified CCR registered firms have 5 business days from the publication to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will normall y be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Request for written Quotation will not be issued. All responses to this notice must be emailed to cynthia.purdie@richardson.army.mil.
