- (i) This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items number F2QT147029A100 issued on 29 January 2007 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F2QT147029A100 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. (iii) The solicitation document and FAR incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-14 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20070122. (iv) This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 532111 and the small business size standard is $23.5 million. (v) The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for vehicle rentals. CLIN 0001 15 Passenger vans. Delivery one van by 4pm, 5 Feb 07, deliver other vans NLT 4 pm, 16 Feb 07. qty: 18each; CLIN 0002 24 Foot Box truck with lift gate (price includes 1 week and 2 days plus 30 miles). Delivery one by 4 pm, 8 Feb 07, return 16 Feb 07 qty: 2each; CLIN 0003 Intermediate 4-Door cars. Delivery by NLT 4 PM, 8 Feb 07, return 16 Feb 07 at 4 pm qty: 12each; CLIN 0004 16 foot box truck with lift gates, 1 week and five days (02/05/07 through 02/16/07) Delivery NLT 4 PM on 5 Feb 07 qty: 1 each; CLIN 0005 16 foot box truck, with lift gates, 1 week and one day. (02/09/07 through 02/16/07) qty: 2each. Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB point will be 30 Fenwick Road, Ft Monroe, VA. 23651-1064.
