ID PFH 94-1(1), Meadow Creek Road, 32 km NW of Bonners Ferry, Idaho Panhandle National Forest, Boundary County, Idaho THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. THIS PROJECT WILL BE BID WITH one schedule. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF 0.928 km of grading, surfacing, bridge demolition, bridge construction, riprap, rockery wall, trenching, conduit, and guardrail. Includes construction of a 68 m long steel plate girder bridge with a cast-in-place concrete deck. Abutments are founded on driven H piles. THE PROJECT INCLUDES Construction Survey and Staking; Contractor Quality Control and Assurance, Contractor Sampling and Testing; Construction Schedules; 300 m silt fence; 144 m wattles; a temporary diversion channel device; 100 m3 watering for dust control; 1.1481 ha Clearing and grubbing; Removal of a Steel truss bridge on concrete piers; 15400 m3 Excavation and Embankment; 1500 m2 geotextiles; 60 m3 Structure excavation; 1300 m3 Riprap; 50 m2 Rockery wall; 0.164 km Road Reconditioning; 3200 ton Crushed aggregate; 211 m3 Structural concrete; 26506 kg Reinforcing steel; 181100 kg Steel structures; 208 m Steel H piles 360 x 174; 44 m of 450 mm pipe; 4 terminal sections of Guardrail; 1.928 ha of Seeding and Mulching; 613 ea Plants, Trees, Shrubs, Vines and Groundcovers; 7500 m Permanent Pavement Markings; and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 32 km NW of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Road closure will be allowed from approximately June 1, 2007 to November 7, 2007. Work shall be completed by November 30, 2007. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOTs Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
