- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. This request is being issued as Request for Quotation Q8080070021. The FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14, and can be found at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Quotors/Bidders must review and comply with the FAR Provisions or Clauses that apply to this Solicitation. This is 100% set-aside for small business and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519. The following is a description of the requirement for this acquisition: Line Item 001: Part Number: ST1, Anabat II, Titley Electronics, or equal. Salient features: Ability to record and store bat calls as they are received onto a compact flash card for later downloading onto a PC, ability to run on internal batteries or external power supply, possesses manual and automated detection modes. Automated detection allows for increased battery life and passive monitoring, and frequency division system provides details of bat calls at a much finer level than is possible by hearing alone, as in heterodyne or time expansion systems. Quantity: 6; Line Item 0002. Data Storage Device for Anabat Bat Detector. Part Number: ZCAIM Anabat-CF, Titley Electronics, or equal. Must be compatible with bat detector. Quantity: 6; Line Item 003: Replaceable Transducers for Bat Detectors, Part Number: Anabat - ST1, Titley Electronics, or equal. Must be compatible with bad detector. Quantity: 6 This order shall be shipped FOB Destination to: Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, P.O. Box 52, Hawaii National Park, HI. 9l6718 within 30 days of receipt of order. The following clauses or provisions are specifically referenced and are required in the response to this Solicitation: 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS; 52-212-2, EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS - Evaluation factors include [a] price; [b] quality; 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERICAL ITEMS, a completed copy of the provision at 52.213-3 must be submitted with the bid/offer. Contractor must download from the internet and complete per instructions; 52.212-4, CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS; AND 52-212-5, CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.219-6, 52.223-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 52.232-36. .
