Description

The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, has a requirement for vegetation treatment on selected sites on the Winnemucca District of the Nevada BLM. The work consists of disking specific fuelbreaks along the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT)- Right of Ways (ROW). Location and Description of Project: Highway 447: Washoe County approximately 63 acres. The width to be disked is 14 feet. Highway 95: Humboldt County approximately 173 acres. The width to be disked is 12 feet. Highway 290: Humboldt County approximately 50 acres to be disked. The width to be disked is 12 feet. Highway 140: Humboldt County approximately 71 acres to be disked. The width to be disked is 12 feet. A detailed Statement of Work and Maps will be included with the solicitation package. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about February 2, 2007. Offers will be due on or about February 23, 2007. The project is expected to begin in early to mid April and be completed by July 1, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System number for this solicitation is 115112. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
