- The Joint Program Manager, Nuclear Biological Chemical (JPM NBC) Contamination Avoidance is requesting information and seeking sources regarding technologies and/or methods for detecting and identifying liquid chemical warfare agents on the ground in support of the NBC Reconnaissance Platforms specifically to include the NBC Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBC-RV), the Joint Service NBC Reconnaissance System (JSNBCRS), and the M93A1 Fox Reconnaissance Platform. Complete and partial solutions are welcome. De sired specifications include, but are not restricted/ limited to: Size: approximately 5.5 cubic feet (35x20x14 inches; HxWxD), 200 pounds; Detection and identification time: Chemical less than 45 seconds; System Power: Peak power less than 1000W, Operating less than 500W; Input Voltage: 20-31 Vdc; Temperature Range: Operating -25?F to 120?F; Storage -60?F to 160?F. Humidity (operating): 5-95% Relative Humidity. Shock and Vibration: MIL-STD-810E. Electromagnetic Interface: MIL-STD 461. Mean time to Repair (MTTR): less than 30 minutes. Data Storage: Capable of storing and maintaining 72 hours of continuous operational data in memory. System must interface with sampling probe integrated onto platforms currently.
