- This is a Sources Sought Announcement only for purposes of conducting Market Research. There is no solicitation available at this time. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Southern Region Contracting Center- East (SRCC-E), Ft McPherson, Georgia is conducting market research to find out how many sources are available to supply complete DVIDS systems, provide parts and maintenance/repair services on DVIDS systems. DVIDS is the Digital Video and Imagery Distribution Systems. They are used to send interviews, imagery, video footage and print stories to a centrally located hub. DVIDS includes the following different types:(1)deployable Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS Type A)(2)Transportable Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS Type B)(3)Manpackable Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS Type C) (4)HMMVV-Mounted Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS Type D) (5)Maritime Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS Type E) The Contractor shall (1) supply complete DVIDS systems (2) provide DVIDS replacement parts, units on DVIDS systems, (3) provide Maintenance/Repair Services (4) provide once a year routine maintenance checks on DVIDS systems. Interested Contractors can request the list of DVIDS parts to be supplied under this acquisition by contacting Ms. Janine Cowling via email at Janine.Cowling@forscom.army.mil The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517510; small business size standard is $13.5 million. Interested business concerns are invited to provide a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to provide the parts and services listed above. Also, please provide information regarding prices for these parts and services. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email by 16 Feb 2007, 2:00 p.m. EDT. Responses shall not exceed 10 pages and must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number and fax number. The Government will not reimburse any costs for any information that is submitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. The information provided in response to this source sought announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
