Description
This sources sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Performance Requirements: The Air Mobility Command (AMC) is interested in the identification of capable sources to provide services for the Data Processing (DataPro), Intransit Visibility (ITV), Analysis and Metrics, and Functional Data Analysis support. Support includes: functional, technical, and analytical support for implementation and management of DataPro, ITV, Analysis, and Metrics, and Functional Data Analyst; ITV information updates utilizing current government-owned and operated Automated Information Systems (AI S); data input and collection, analysis, and presentation of mission reliability related delays and various commercial movements programs; overall process improvement for port processes based on data records type functions; working interface issues concerning applicable AIS; research, analysis, and resolution options recommendations for data quality problems from a functional perspective; managing manifest registers and aiding in troubleshooting user defined Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) problems; analyzing the GATES database to ensure that supports current and future functional business needs; providing analysis and metrics as it applies to both DataPro and ITV; maintain a file plan in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS); conduct briefings; and travel. Place of Performance would be Scott AFB, IL. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations would be required. A draft performance work statement will be posted as an attachment to this synopsis. Information requested: 1. Company Information: Name, Address, telephone number, FAX number, point of contact(s) name(s), phone number, e-mail address 2. Capability information in terms of the ability to perform the services identified above and in the draft performance work statement. Capability information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support described above and in the attached draft performance work statement. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 20 pages. 3. Identification of business size and whether currently designated a Small Business as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19.1 and the appropriate categories (small business (SB), small disadvantaged business (SDB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a) certified small business, service disabled veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, woman-owned small business. Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at www.sba.gove/size/sizetable2002.html. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541614. Small Business size is $6.5M. 4. Identify Major Risks: Provide general information to identify any major risks anticipated. 5. Any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. Response must be received by this office at or before 12:00noon Central Standard Time (CST) 2 February 2007. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
