- This synopsis is notification of the 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB, IL, intent to award a contract for fire alarm maintenance, inspection and repair and testing and fire extinguisher maintenance. The Contractor will provide all management, services, and resources necessary to maintain, inspect and repair, and test the electrical aspect of automatic fire alarm systems and radio transceivers to ensure serviceability and proper operation and provide fire extinguisher maintenance as required by the Scott AFB fire department. A solicitation will be posted on or around 12 Feb 07. The solicitation number will be FA4407-07-R-0006. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-14, effective 22 Nov 06. This will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621. The SBS size standard is $11.5 million. The solicitation will be available at http://fbo.gov/. Potential offerors MUST register at http://fbo.gov/ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
