- The response date has been changed to 5 Feb 07. Project Repair Both Slides, Replace Skid Pads On Steps, Repair/Replace Safety Fencing at Bunker Hill Pool on Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, TX will be issued in the near future. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary plant, labor and materials to accomplish the following: repair both water slides, check and retorque all bolts on slides and support structure, refurbish both slides, replace safety anti-skid strips and repair and strengthen safety fencing. There will be minimal, if any, personnel at the worksite during the performance period. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the occupants, contracting officer and contracting officer?s representative, who may be an engineering contract inspector, a design manager or a quality assurance person. Performance period is 60 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation is being issued for full and open competition. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $13 million. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration and ORCA in order to receive award of a contract.
