- Description
- Congregate Bathrooms/Corridor Renovation in Bldg. #1 at the VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001-2480. Project 529-06-106, will include the demolition of existing congregate bathrooms on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors in Bldg. #1 (a total of six areas) to be renovated into office space, and the renovation of existing corridors consisting of demolition of existing asbestos flooring, wall coverings/paint, ceiling systems and installation of new flooring, wall finishes and ceiling systems. Existing lighting system are to be re-used. Renovation work in the existing congregate bathroom is to include all utility systems and new mechanical /HVAC. The construction budget is between $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00. The consultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services as defined to accomplish complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates and construction period services. Four (4) separate design reviews are required. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms located within a 3 hour response time of the VAMC Butler, PA. Interested firms must submit three (3) copies of SF 330 with appropriate documentation to the Contracting Officer (101), VAMC, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001-2480 by 3:00 PM EST on February 27, 2007.
