- Solicitation HSCG84-07-R-HYV019, for wet debris removal of an offshore area approximately 275.18 square miles and located one half mile to four miles out from the coastline of Jackson, Hancock, and Harrison Counties, Mississippi, will be available on FedBizOpps on or about January 29, 2007. The marine debris removal services shall include all labor, materials, equipment and any other items or services applicable or appropriate to remove and dispose of debris, deposited by Hurricane Katrina that poses an immediate threat to improved property, public health, and/or safety, as required under Section 403(a)(3) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Stafford Act), as amended. The closing date for this solicitation will be on or about February 8, 2007. This requirement will be issued under Small Business Set Aside procedures and the Government anticipates awarding this contract at a Firm Fixed Price. The applicable NAICS code is 562111 with a size standard of $11.5 million. (For the calculation of annual receipts and number of employees see parts 121.104 and 121.106 in SBAs Small Business Size Regulations, http://www.sba.gov/regulations/121/.) Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from the above site.
