- Description
- The notice is to announce the release of the DISN Network Management Support Services - Global/Recompete Network Engineering Contract (DNMSS-G/R NEC). The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Services Support Branch (PL831) is issuing the attached full and open Request for Proposal (RFP) for Administration, Operation and Maintenance, Network Management, and related services to support the DISN. This includes providing continuing system and network planning, engineering, enhancement, acquisition, implementation, integration, management, maintenance and operations support at Task Order-specified locations for the following components of the DISN: The Defense Switched Network (DSN) (voice services, the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) (secure voice services), the DSN and DRSN network management systems: Advanced DSN/DRSN Integrated Management Support System (ADIMSS/ARDIMSS), the Integrated Network Management System (INMS), and other specified DISN networks and systems and their respective management systems. Work performance locations include (but are not limited to): DISA Headquarters and DISN Global Network Operations Center, Arlington, VA, the National Capital Region (NCR), Washington, D.C.; DISA/DISN Program Management Office, Falls Church, VA; DISA/DITCO and DISN Global Network Operations Support Center, Scott AFB, IL; DISA Joint Integration Test Command, Ft. Huachuca, AZ; DISA-CENTCOM, MacDill AFB, FL; Theater Network Operations Centers outside the Continental United States; DISA-EUROPE TNC, Patch Barracks at Stuttgart, GE; DISA Pacific TNC at Wheeler Army Air Field, Wahiawa, HI; DISA-CENT at Manamah, Bahrain, in Southwest Asia. Period of Performance is a two (2) year base with three (3) one year option periods. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), primarily with the use of firm fixed price and time and materials task orders. The RFP will be posted 29 Jan 2007 to the World Wide Web at http:www.ditco.disa.mil under Contracting Opportunities - Information Technology RFP/RFQ/RFI of the DITCO Homepage. Proposals will be due 20 Mar 2007. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluation and award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable.
