Description
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to enter into a contract, sole-source, with RAMGEN Power Systems Inc. of Bellevue, Washington to examine and assess rapid response capability of an Advanced Vortex Combustor (AVC) for the High Efficiency Engine Using Supersonic Flow Technology effort, Phase 1. The value of this research and development effort is estimated at $350K with a period of performance of approximately nine (9) months. RAMGEN Power Systems Inc. is the only source known to the Government, which retains the requisite capability, facilities and experiences to undertake this R&D effort within the Government's cost and schedule constraints. This Notice is published for the purpose of information only and it is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. See government-wide numbered note 22.
