- In anticipation of the release of the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) System Development and Demonstration (SDD) solicitation in the mid-February timeframe, the Government would like to establish a database for sending technical information, to include the Draft Capability Development Document (CDD), the Performance Based System Specification (PBSS), and the Technical Library as these documents become available to potential offerors. The Draft CDD is available now and provides the foundation for the requirements of the BAMS UAS PBSS. The release of the Draft CDD is intended to make available information that could be helpful to potential offerors. It is anticipated that the PBSS and Technical Library would be made available prior to the Presolicitation Conference scheduled for 8 February 2007. The classification of the technical data is up to the SECRET/NOFORN level. Interested parties must identify which documents are desired (Draft CDD, Draft PBSS, Draft Technical Library) and request a copy from the Government because of the documents' classification. Points of contact for the written request are listed below. The request must include the name of the company, classified mailing address, CAGE code, e-mail address, Facility Security Officer name and telephone number, and point of contact with telephone number. Compact Disc(s) containing a copy of the requested technical data will be mailed after the Government verifies the requestor's classified mailing address and level of safeguarding. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT, NOR WILL THE GOVERNMENT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SOLICITED OR PROVIDED.
