Description

Regular Overhaul Availability (R.O.H.) for the USNS ARCTIC (T-AOE 8). The period of performance for this requirement is to start 04 June 2007 and end 03 August 2007. The area of consideration is CONUS East/Gulf Coast. This is an unrestricted procurement for MSRA holders. The major work items for this repair availability are: 1) Dry docking of Vessel, 2) Underwater Hull preservation, 3) Sea Valves Overhaul, 4) Propulsion Shafting Examination, 5) Propeller Exam and Polishing, 6) Rudder and Bilge Keel Exams, 7) CAPAC System Groom and Zinc Renewals, 7) Helo Flight Deck Non-skid Renewal, 8) Exterior PRC Non-skid renewal, 9) Interior PRC Deck Covering Renewal, 10) Misc. Auxiliary System Valve repairs and renewals, 11) Air Conditioning Plant Replacement. Only written (regular mail or Fed-Ex) requests will be accepted.
