Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for Airborne Digital Data Recorder VSC-MDR80/R, NSN 5836-01-527-8751, P/N 50570701-302, and 5836-01-537-8617, P/N 50570701-405, and 51571003- 502 current source for this unit is TEAC America Inc Data Recorder Division, cage 3SDT5. The VSC-MDR80/R is part of the AH-64 Helicopter for record and playback of scan convertible mission data in 875 and 500 TVL formats. Detailed technical data for the ma nufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must in clude documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functi onally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that this item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
