**TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED** FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTACT, DELORIS BROWNLOW, CONTRACTING OFFICER, AMSAM-AC-ML-A, 256-955-7030 (EMAIL: Deloris.brownlow@redstone.army.mil) IT IS THE INTENT OF THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT IN SUPPORT OF THE IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM (IBAS) FOR SPARE PARTS by other than full and open competition. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued to DRS OPTRONICS, INC, 2330 COMME RCE PARK DR NE, PALM BAY, FL 32905, (CAGE CODE 32865) and RAYTHEON COMPANY, 2501 W. UNIVERSITY DRIVE M/S 8064, P O BOX 801, MCKINNEY, TX 75070, (CAGE CODE 96214). This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends t o solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. This proposed acquisition will be a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract which covers potential future requirements for five (5) years with orders to be issued one or more times as requirements materialize. However, this does not preclude the Government from ordering the maximum quantity for each part number at any time during the requirements period. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the q ualified sources. A technical data package which defines all engineering and quality requirements is not available. Foreign Firms are reminde d that all requests for the solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources may submit a bid/proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency, request solicitation package from address above, ATTN : AMSAM-AC-LS-M, FAX Number 256-955-7737. Adequate drawings, specifications, or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. Procurement history is available upon request. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
