- This is sources sought for Cadet Yearbook Advertisement The United States Air Force Academy has a requirement for yearbook advertisement. The Contractor shall be responsible for selling all commercial advertisements, which will appear in the POLARIS Yearbook. The POLARIS staff reserves the right to sell patron advertisements, but the staff will refer any request for commercial advertisements to the Contractor. All commercial advertising sales are subject to the final approval of the Contracting Officer or his/her duly authorized representative. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, services, equipment, tools, materials, personnel, supervision, and expenses for United States Air Force Academy, Office of Cadet Wing Media (USAFA/CWTMS) for the POLARIS Yearbook The Contractor shall not accept any advertisement orders for help wanted, stock-selling projects, controversial medical advertisement, misleading copy, attacking other advertisers (either directly or indirectly), the sale of tobacco products, wine, liquor or accessories, or any advertising which at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer or his/her duly authorized representative, would be otherwise objectionable. The Contractor shall be responsible for collection of all monies resulting from the sale of advertisement. In the event the Contractor has uncollectible accounts for reasons of bankruptcy or other factors beyond the control of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be liable for the revenue due to the Cadet Wing Media for the required minimum, and all sales in excess of the minimum. The United States Air Force Academy, Office of Cadet Wing Media is responsible for the overall publication of the POLARIS Yearbook, which will include the advertisements sold by the resultant contract. The operation is similar to that of a Journalism Department at a major university where yearbooks, magazines or other types of professionally printed publications are produced.
