Description
436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB DE intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Trane, 18 Boulden Circle, Suite 14, New Castle DE 19720-3494. This acquisition is sole source because the Trane Tracer Summit Training must be compatible with the existing Tracer Summit System. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 611519. The following Trane Tracer Summit Training will be procured: Contractor is to provide classroom instruction and hands on training needed to perform advanced setup and programming practices of a Tracer Summit system. The purpose of this class is to certify the 12 students on setup and programming configure the MP580/581 using the Rover Service tool. Topics will include point programming, Tracer Graphical Programming (TGP), utilizing the Tracer MP580/581 as a small building controller and integration with Tracer Summit using built-in profile variables and existing library routines. The contractor will also provide training manuals and computers for 12 students to give instruction. Hands-on training to include configuration and setup of the following applications: Rover Service tool, MP580 Hardwire Layout, Tracer Graphical Programming (TGP) Small building networks and Interfacing Tracer Summit with the MP580. Location of training is Dover AFB, DE, building 615 Training Center. Training dates are from 12 ? 16 Mar 07, 7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m. with Lunch between 11:30-12:30. Training must be flexible in the event of a snow storm, terrorist attack, or act of god that is unforeseen. In the event one of these situations arise, the training will be postponed or and rescheduled for a later date. Government furnished support includes training classroom, projector, 110 voltage to power computers and dry eraser board for instruction. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is February 9, 2007. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, February 2, 2007.
