- The FAA, Great Lakes Region, will award a purchase order to Ameritec, at 760 Arrow Grand Circle, CA for 67 responder card files for a total amount of $39,195. The requirements office has identified Ameritec as a single source provider of cards used in the FAA's Mini Telecommunication Demarcation System (MTDS). This system is used to terminate all telecommunication circuits entering a FAA facility. The responders are devised to loop-back a telecommunications circuit to the control facility of the circuit and allows for easy troubleshooting. This announcement and market survey is to identify sources carrying Ameritec, new technology or compatible products for future consideration.
