- Description
- Department of the Treasury, FMS, has a requirement for software products to be acquired under this award are proprietary software that is maintained and owned by CA, Inc of Islandia, NY. Title to, and ownership of, all applicable package programs, macros, methodologies, modules, associated documentation and potential future modifications (irrespective of their authorship), including all copyrights therein for FMS licenses, are the exclusive property of CA, Inc. Only CA, Inc. can provide technical support and updates, when available, for these licenses. ***Sole Source determination is based on the need for the CA, Inc. software renewals and extensions to maintain absolute compatibility, existing systems, and interface with existing proprietary software code. The solicitation for commercial items is being prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a sources sought for this requirement. A written solicitation will be issued in the near future which will request that proposals be submitted. Proposals are NOT being sought as this time. All interested sources should submit their capabilities statement. However, preference will be given to SDVOSB and HUB Zone Small Business.
