28-Repair, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-06-R-0305, OC-ALC/PSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/PSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Contractor Furnished Material requirements solicitation with a 1-Year Basic – 360 each with 2 One-Year Options, Option I – 360 each, Option II – 360 each on USAF repairs and 1-Year Basic – 12 each with 2 One-Year Options, Option I – 12 each, Option II – 12 each on FMS repairs. Item 0001 NSN 2840-00-570-0773, #3 Bearing Airseals, and Part Number: 4036998 and 1-Year Basic – 348 each with 2 One-Year Options, Option I – 348 each, Option II – 348 each on USAF repairs and 1-Year Basic – 12 each with 2 One-Year Options, Option I – 12 each, Option II – 12 each on FMS repairs. Item 0002 NSN 2840-00-343-7939, #4 Bearing Airseals, and Part Number: 4036962. The Basic Year of Performance will be April 10, 2007 through April 10, 2008, Option I – April 11, 2008 through April 11, 2009, Option II – April 12, 2009 through April 12, 2010 (if Options are exercised). Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer or any other third party. Form/Fit/Function: Bearing airseals provide the proper pressuring air flow to the bearing compartments to seal oil and prevent oil leakage. Material: #3 Bearing Airseal, fabricated of Titanium alloy dimensions approximately 7 inches x 7 inches x 3 inches, weight 3 ½ to 4 pounds. #4 Bearing Airseal, fabricated of Incoloy 901, approximately 8 inches x 4 inches, weight 3 ½ to 4 pounds. Destination: Tinker AFB OK and FMS Shipments, Delivery: USAF #3 Bearing Airseal – 30 each – 30 days after receipt of reparable, FMS 2 each – 30 days after receipt of reparable. USAF #4 Bearing Airseal – 29 each – 30 days after receipt of reparable, FMS 2 each – 30 days after receipt of reparable. The approximate solicitation issue date will be March 31, 2006. The anticipated award date will be 28 April 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Pratt & Whitney Military Aftermarket, San Antonio TX, Turbine Controls, Bloomfield CT. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
