- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Modify Photo Thermal Common Path Interferometer (PCI) setup to carry out a series of optical loss measurements at 1064 nm on High Reflector (HR) and Anti-Reflection (AR) coated fused sillica optics (Quantity - 1 each). This requirement is sole sourced to Stanford University Ginzton Lab due to the unique capability of Stanforord University having the only instrument that has the sensitivity (10ppb) and scanning ability to map the surface and associate individual material irregularities to laser damage site. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its abilitity to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data or without causi ng programmatic hardship to the program.
