Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. THE SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AFTER FEBURARY 7, 2007 Pre-Solicitation Notice for the supply of Wood Windows and Wood Doors The National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office will be soliciting bids for the procurement of replica historic wooden windows and doors. The procurement will include the production of seventy-four (74) fixed, double hung and sliding wood window units and twenty-nine (29), 5-panel interior and exterior wood doors. The millwork items will closely replicate other doors and windows in size, profile and materials used at a historic site. The windows and doors will be vertical grain, Douglas Fir with replica historic single glazing. Architectural plans and specifications will be available after the solicitation is posted to FedBizOpps on or after February 7, 2007. Delivery destination will be the National Park Service, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve maintenance facility at Glennallen, Alaska. Installation of the supplied doors and windows will not be required in this procurement Estimated magnitude of the procurement is between $25,000 and $75,000. THIS WILL BE A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS CODE: 321911 SIZE STANDARD: Less than 500 employees.
