Description
CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 110 9th Avenue South, Room A-604, Nashville, TN 37203. SOLICITATION INFORMATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the so licitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation, 100% small business set-aside, utilizing the associated NAICS code 238110, Standard Size of $13 Million Dollar s, SIC code of 1771. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors  Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include with their offer a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912P5-07-T-0003, for the acquisition of supplies/services consisting of furnishing all equipment and labor necessary to cut and remove concrete on top of the Pickwick Auxiliary Lock wall to create trenches for new tow haulage equipment. The Pickwick Auxiliary Lock is located on the Tennessee River near Counce, Tennessee. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD: The contractor will be evaluated on their (1) technical capability, (2) past performance, and (3) costs. Please submit three references of similar services to include point-of-contacts name, organizations name, contract nu mber, period of performance, contracts dollar value, point-of-contacts email, fax, and phone number. This information shall not exceed four typed pages, 8 ? x 11, 12 point font. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for February 7, 2007, 10:30 a.m. Central Standard Time at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, Operations Division, Mid-Tennessee River Area, Pickwick Lock, 850 Carolina Lane, Counce, TN 38326-9797. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified acquisition-related i nformation for all Federal agencies.
