- Note 27 applies. PROJECT 6BS026 - Remove and replace 44 175 watt fixtures and replace with 250 watt fixtures, intall 2 8-foot fixtures, replace 1 8ft fixture, relamp various fixtures-wash all open shades and insides and outsides of all diffusers, replace all 2-tube 40 watt fixtures using existing pendants, install Lithonia fixtures with T8 lamps, pull all old wire out, replace with #12 THHN with grounds-keep switching configuration the same and replace switches with new - various buildings. PROJECT 6BS196 - remove 144 fluorescent fixtures and replace with 125 new 4100K lamps using existing chains to hang most fixtures, connect and wire appropriately, mount 10 fixtures directly to the ceiling, replace all non-grounding receptacles with grounded 15 amp devices, install new T8 fluorescent tubes in all fixtures, stub from 2 separate panels and install a 4-gang j-box in each location, mount 4 20-amp brown single pole switches, extend conductors from breakers in panel to new switches, relamp remaining fixtures. Work will be performed at Watervliet Arsenal, buildings 15, 22, 23, 24, 123, 124, 126 and 130. Watervliet, NY, is located 15 miles north of Albany. NAICS is 238210. SBA Size Standard is $13,000,000 total. All items will be FOB destination. It is anticipated that installation will be completed within 120 days after receipt of notice to proceed. Contractor must be registered in CCR and will have certifications and representations entered in ORCA in order to receive award. CCR registration information can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/ and ORCA information can be found at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Estimated issue date of solicitation is 2/5/2007. Bids will be due 3/7/2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. CAUTION: This solictation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interestd parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All technical data required for this requirement will be posted on the ASFI website and there will be no charge to access the data on the web. Estimated cost of this project is between 100,000 and 250,000 total. There will be a mandatory site visit on 2/20/2007. Instructions for registration for the site visit are contained in the solictation attachment posted on the web at ASFI.
