- Description
- This project consists of all plant, material, labor, supervision, permits, and permit procurement for Repair Firemen Training Facility. Work will include, but is not limited to: upgrade the existing firemen training facility to meet the AFCESA stand ards shutdown in order to facilitate a safe facility; concrete flatwork, masonry, site utilities, gas piping, electrical wiring, control wiring, and demolition; provide a new foundation and site utilities for the relocation of an existing smoke house; new construction and repair. Bid opening date will be on or about 8 March 2007. Construction time will be three hundred (300) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation will be available fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this ann ouncement from the Nationwide NG Posting for Electronic Business Solicitations (EBS) on-line at http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. All requests for solicitations shall go through the EBS website. Interested bidders a re required to register on the EBS website to access/download the solicitation. Clicking on the solicitation number link will start the registration process. Interested bidders must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR registrat ion information can be accessed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. The solicitation and associated information minus the plans and specifications will be available only from the EBS website. The plans and specifications will be available only from the Feder al Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website on-line at https://www.fedteds.gov/. Interested bidders are required to register on the FedTeDS website to access/download the plans and specifications. Registration information is available on the FedTeDS hom epage. This project is restricted to those contractors possessing a minimum of five (5) years of experience in repair of fire training facilities using Air Force designed fire crash rescue training facility modification 5 package (dated 9 August 1996), an d in accordance with Technical Order 35E1-2-13-1.
