- This synopsis, for a planned acquisition, is to provide services to test, maintain, and repair Athletic Scoreboards and Messaging Displays at the USAF Academy, CO. The performance period is one year from approximately 1 April 2007 plus four (4) one-year options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The service provider shall provide all management, labor, materials, and transportation necessary to provide services to test, maintain, and repair nine (9) scoreboards (incandescent/LED), four (4) shot clocks, and two (2) 25 second timers, in the Academy's Community Center area. Three (3) outdoor LED message displays: one (1) each located at the North and South Gate areas, & one (1) located outside of Falcon Stadium. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is: 238210 with a $13M average small business size. This acquisition will be a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding procedures, to procure a Fixed Price Service Contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about 9 February 2007, utilizing FedBizOpps.gov single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Solicitation documents will not be available by any other means. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. Funds are currently available for this acquisition.
