- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, 07TC0307, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. The NAICS code is 541690 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The following service is requested in this solicitation; Survey all Fire Doors (230) for B4550 and provide a summary report. Remove any paint as necessary from fire rating labels, apply new fire rating labels to doors and frames with damaged or missing labels. Contractor will provide all tools, personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform the certification of the fire doors within Wilford Hall Medical Center using: References: NFPA 80: Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives, NFPA 101: Life Safety Code, NFPA 252:Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Doors Assemblies. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
