- The United States Air Force intends to negotiate sole source with Motorola INC, Columbia, MD for the purchasing twenty-eight (28) portable digital radios XTS5000 380; four (4) portable digital radiosXTL 5000 UHF R1 Mobile 10-40 watt; and five (5) digital radios10-40 W UHF R1 380-470MHZ XTL 500. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 24 Jan 07. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement..
