In addition, NTI may periodically request proposers to edit/update the existing course materials. NTI?s State and Metropolitan Transportation Programming two and one-half day course provides instruction on the basic concepts, components, and participants in the transportation programming process including current and best practices. It covers the statewide and metropolitan programming processes required under the federal transportation planning regulations, the variety of state programming processes, and typical legal, political, and traditional process constraints. Aspects of local programming are also addressed. To obtain a copy of the complete Request for Proposal, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement & Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted; telephone requests are unacceptable. Requests will be honored if received by Tuesday, March 6, 2007. .
