- Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFL) in Lakewood, CO is a part of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation. The FLH provides planning, design, and construction engineering services for more than 90,000 miles of roads on lands administered by Federal Land Managing Agencies such as the National Park Service, Forest Service, Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, Fish and Wildlife Service, and Bureau of Indian Affairs. The CFL is seeking proposals for the installation of Maximo Enterprise software and then to conduct an asset inventory at the CFL offices and load this inventory into the Maximo database. Inventory shall include barcoding of all assets. Proposals shall address the offeror?s knowledge of the Maximo software and Oracle 10g databases. Evaluation factors include demonstrated experience in Federal inventory management, development of databases and reports using Maximo Enterprise and Oracle 10g databases. This is a best value negotiated type procurement and evaluation factors for award are fully stated in the RFP which is available as noted below. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, technical, and other factors considered. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in the RFP. A written solicitation, DTFH68-07-R-00002 is advertised on an unrestricted basis and will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690. The award is anticipated to be a performance-based, fixed price award. The Request for Proposals will be available on or about January 23, 2007 at the Central Federal Lands web site at http://www.cflhd.gov/. Click on the Procurement Tab, Current Solicitations, Solicitations-Other. Proposals in response to this RFP are due on February 14, 2007.
