- The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, intends to award a single source contract with a one-year base period and up to four one-year options to Raytheon, Network Centric Systems, in Marlborough, MA, to perform engineering support services to provide engineering expertise and system engineering modifications for its proprietary Precision Runway Monitor System (PRM) phased array radar system. The support will include engineering phone support, technical interchange meetings, technical support at PRM sites, engineering studies, and modification development. The purpose is to sustain PRM service and/or redundancy of the PRM service. The attached Draft Statement of Work details this support. This requirement is being processed using limitation of sources to a single source as provided for under the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.2.4. This procurement is considered to be single source based upon the vendor's proprietary data for support of the PRM system. Interested parties who feel they have the capability and experience to perform this service should submit detailed documentation of their ability to perform the services outlined in the attached Statement of Work. Responses must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Michelle Shaw via email michelle.shaw@faa.gov, and must be received by 07 Feb 2008 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
