- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring temporary lodging accommodations to support the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard Oil Spills and Salvage Operations Team in New Orleans LA. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision in providing guestrooms, parking, conference rooms, telephone services, and internet services for Coast Guard Personnel. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm-fixed price services type contract will be awarded to responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price, and non-price related factors considered. The Base Period of performance will be from 1 March 2007 through 30 May 2007 with two option periods, if exercised by the Government, for total contract duration not to exceed five months. This requirement will be issued under unrestricted procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 721110 (Hotels Except Casino Hotels and Motels) with a size standard of $6.5 million. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. The solicitation, and any subsequent amendments, will be available electronically on the MLCLANT Intranet Web site http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html and the Federal Business Opportunity Website of www.fbo.gov on or about January 24, 2007 with a closing date for receipt of quotes by January 26, 2007.
