- Description
- The U.S. Government seeks to lease approximately 57,500 to 63,250 rentable square feet to house the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Frederick County, Maryland. Requirements: The current Government space requirement is for 50,000 BOMA Office Area Square Feet of office space and 10,000 BOMA Office Area Square Feet of adjacent warehouse space. All buildings shall be required to meet Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Level III. Warehouse must have office standard HVAC; a clear ceiling height of 22 feet to 25 feet, and at least one loading dock at the warehouse. Data/Telephony Circuits are required throughout the building. Building is required to have capability from multiple T1 lines up to multiple DS3 Circuits. Site is required to have 200 off-street parking spaces for the Government's exclusive use. FEMA is required to be the sole tenant of this building. Site: There will not be a pre-determined site for this lease acquisition. Lease Term: The lease term is 10 years. Interagency Security Criteria (ISC) Level III: The buildings are required to meet the ISC Level III criteria. Sub-contracting: Prior to award, the success offeror, if deemed to be a large business, is required to submit a Small Business Sub-contracting Plan. CCR Registration: The successful offeror is required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. SFO: The solicitation will be available on or about January 26, 2007.
