- The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Division intends to acquire a support agreement for two Government - owned Teradyne Automatic Test Systems (ATS) at the Naval Submarine Support Facility New London, Groton, CT. The following ATS?s shall be covered by the contract: Teradyne Model L280 ATS and Teradyne Model L297 ATS. This is a sole source action to Teradyne, Inc. and Teradyne will provide service for complex maintenance problems. Services also include but are not limited to a repair parts agreement, emergency visits, preventive maintenance, and phone support. These commercial services will be solicited in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the Small Business Standard is $6,000,000.00. Period of Performance is 24 January 2007 through 30 September 2007. The proposed firm fixed price contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Point of contact is C.
