- Description
- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Acquisitions Management and Operations Branch (AMOB) has a sole source requirement for a service plan to repair, realign, and recalibrate two Coherent Enterprise I and II Argon Ion UV lasers and four Coherent Chameleon lasers for multiphoton excitation. The NIAID intends to award a contract for one base year and four consecutive option years beginning on or about October 1, 2007 to Coherent Laser Group on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1. Coherent Laser Group is the only responsible source for this requirement. The parts for the lasers and information for repair are available only from the manufacturer.
